Embroidered Spring Sweater

Whenever the weather drops below 65 degrees here in LA, I pretend I'm living somewhere with actual seasons. Naturally, I start layering away.  This, of course, happens only once in a blue moon. Thankfully, we recently had some beautifully brisk days where I've fully embraced the five minutes of  "sweatah weathah."  This week, on one of these chilly days, I reached for one of my favorite new embroidered sweaters with the cutest colorful fringe detailing on the sleeves.

Outfit Of The Day

I recently posted this outfit on Instagram and received a lot of DM's as to where I snagged this look. Sharing outfit details here, along with some recent family photos. Today, I'm wearing an embroidered sweater by Frances Valentine. It's made of wool but still feels very soft and it not at all itchy. It's woven so beautifully and is a classic piece I'm going to keep in my wardrobe for years to come.I paired it with a pair of ribcage straight ankle Levis which I recently reviewed here. I love that they're so high waisted because you can play around with tucking in sweaters like the one I'm wearing today and the waist feels cinched in.I topped off the look with 90's-inspired sunnies for a steal ($14.95 for two pairs!), nude heels, and a straw bag.

By the way, getting the girls to look at the camera whenever we try to snap photos of the who fam is now officially impossible. These shots were the closest we could get! I can't believe Naiya is almost a kindergartener and Sadie is basically ready to join her there too. Feeling like a very lucky mama but the time is flying by way too quickly!
