TGIF! Finally posting after a few weeks of madness on our end that has precluded me from being able to do it all. I had to surrender and take a tiny break from writing which was so not easy! Naiya had pink eye, Phil had the flu, then both of our families came to town.

It's been a few weeks of craziness but I think we're finally going to be able to come up from air this weekend. Sharing the latest and greatest with you today: a vintage-inspired look I've been living in.

When I first spotted this blouse, it was love at first sight. Its polka dots and oversized bow make it such a great statement piece. I love that you can dress it down as I did today with jeans or that you can dress it up by tucking it into a skirt. Today, I paired it with my favorite classic black booties, a black purse, and white cat eye sunnies.

The sunnies, in addition to my red lipstick, make the look feel vintage-inspired but with a modern twist. If you're on the hunt for the perfect red lipstick, I'm a fan of this one I'm wearing today here. It has a matte finish and stays on all day, not to mention, it is truly the perfect red.
