Must-Have Embroidered Boho Top

I hope everyone had a wonderful July 4th weekend! This was the hottest weekend I can remember since living in Los Angeles for over a decade. It was 115 degrees on Saturday in the valley and we felt like we were basically living on the sun.

Thankfully, we spent the 4th cooling off at a friend's beautiful pool. After that, though, Naiya and I ended up getting sick.

This was Naiya's second horrible cold and my first time being sick at the same time as she was.

By Sunday, I could barely peel myself out of bed, let alone change dirty diapers and nurse her. Needless to say, it was kind of the worst. In better news, sharing some photos of a must-have boho top I'm loving for summer from before I was down for the count.

Outfit Of The Day

When I first saw this boho-inspired embroidered top, it was love at first sight. I love the low-key ruffles at the bottom, the tassels and the embroidered pops of color.

'm also always on the hunt for white tops to add to my wardrobe because I have a tendency to always wear black. This is one of my current faves.I usually pair this top with jeans but since it's been so crazy hot recently, I paired it with my favorite denim skirt I've been wearing on repeat (herehere, here and here).

I topped off the look with classic round sunnies and white open-toe mules.  If you're in the market for everyday shoes this summer, I'm loving this pair for under $80. They're made of real leather, they're comfy and the blocked heel looks so cute with dresses and pants alike.
