5 Books To Read This Winter

Sharing photos today from an adventure around LA with my littlest love, Sadie. She wore her favorite princess dress OTM, this pink tulle frock. I wore the comfiest sweater (currently 25% off!) and relaxed distressed jeans. Along the way, Sadie discovered the cutest mailbox for borrowing and donating used books and she was so excited. It reminded me that I’ve been reading a ton recently. So in addition to today’s outfit details (clickable below), I’m rounding up the last five books I’ve thoroughly enjoyed. These books are easy, fun reads and they’re perfect for cozying up with this winter.

1) “Hello Molly” by Molly Shannon

I’ve always been a fan but in this autobiography, you can’t help but become a super (star…see what I did there?!) fan. Her early life was quite traumatic but she turned all of the challenges into fuel for her success. She also seems like a genuinely kind and brilliant soul and I loved every page of this book. It’s a must-read!

2) “Brazen” by Julia Haart

This autobiography is written by the star of Netflix’s “My Unorthodox Life”—mom and CEO of Elite Model Management—and I couldn’t put it down. Julia escaped from an Ultra Orthodox Jewish community in New York when she was in her 40’s and defied the odds, rising to great success and inspiring her family along with her.

3) “Untamed” by Glennon Doyle

Everyone must read this book. It feels like it reawakens your soul and makes you rethink so many aspects of your life in a deep, meaningful way that sticks with you. Here, Glennon shares how her life took a complete 180 and how she started living out her truth. It makes you want to live yours too and she gives you the tools to start doing so.

4) “Off With My Head” by Stassi Shroeder

This is a fun, easy read that fans of BRAVO’s “Vanderpump Rules” can’t help but enjoy. Stassi got “canceled” after she made some mistakes that came out during the Pandemic and I appreciated learning about where she is at now and how she is working on herself. Her badass personality shines through and being a new mama and now a wife looks great on her and chic AF.

5) “How Are You, Really?” By Jenna Kutcher

I’ve been a Jenna fan for many years as her @goaldiggerpodcast for entrepreneurs has kept me company on long commutes. She is a Midwest-based motivational speaker, author, and business owner who gives such solid life and career advice. This book helps push you forward if you’re feeling stuck creatively or career-wise in a down-to-earth way.

What Are Your Favorite Books Of The Moment?

Have you read any of the above books? I’d love to hear what you think! Leave a comment below and tell me all the things and as always, thanks so much for stopping by!
