The Basic Slip Dress I’m Living In
I recently paired down my closet in a pretty massive, 8-10 giant bags of donations sort of way. Donating pieces that no longer fit my current aesthetic felt so liberating, and walking into my closet now feels like a much-needed breath of fresh air. The Pandemic changed so much for me style-wise and this recent wardrobe purge helped me to truly hone in on pieces I actually wear.
Today, along with some cute recent snaps of Sadie in her fave pink dress of the moment, I’m sharing where to snag one of the basic dresses I ended up keeping that has quickly become one of my all-time favorites. This Japanese “GoWeave” slip dress is beautifully lined and the material feels soft, luxurious, and light.. It’s a great transitional piece for fall because It looks as cute layered beneath button-downs and jackets as it does on its own. I love adding a pop of color like I did with the green button down pictured below.
