Must-Have Madewell Basics
Just as temperatures started to drop over the weekend here in Los Angeles and I pulled out ALL the cozy sweaters, LA decided to hit us with another almost 90 degree day. While I'm definitely not complaining about the beautiful summery weather here, the schizophrenic temps are not always easy to keep up with outfit-wise.

One of my favorite go-to stores for all basics everything is Madewell. You can never go wrong with a simple white button-down and today, I'm wearing a variation of this but with short sleeves and stripes.
I'm loving this top because it pairs so well with shorts, skirts, denim and everything in between. It's perfect for warmer days this season but its also a great layering piece beneath sweaters for colder temps.
Today, I'm wearing this striped button-down (similar here) with denim cut-offs (currently 30% off the sale price!). Pairing the look with round sunnies, white mules and a seagrass handbag that I wore all summer. Thanks to the warmer temps right now, this bag feels like it still works as a transitional piece.
