7 Months In: Our Labor & Delivery Vlog

To celebrate Naiya's 7-month birthday today, we're excited to share our labor and delivery vlog (better late than never!).

Phil and I self-shot our experience from the night before my induction through to our first night home as new parents. 

It took us a while to edit it all together (especially after my emergency c-section and going back to work) but I couldn't be happier to finally have the chance to share it. 

We called it "Dear Naiya" since we put it together as a memento for her to have someday.

Looking back at the transformation we’ve experienced throughout this short period of time continues to blow my mind. Meeting our daughter for the first time and becoming parents was one of the most incredible moments of our entire lives (more about that here). 

This footage seems like it took place just yesterday and a million years ago all at the same time.Our surprise pregnancy announcement also feels like it happened a lifetime ago. Sharing that here in case you missed it! Parenthood definitely has a way of completely discombobulating your sense of time!

7 Months of Naiya

Sharing some of my favorite 7-month photos of Naiya below as well. It's crazy to see how much she's grown since August! We can't get enough of her.

She's pulling herself up to into a standing positions on everything she possibly can. She's crawling around so quickly and is eating solids like a pro. 

She's babbling away and is teething constantly.As much as we want Naiya to keep learning new skills, we're also trying to savor this time because we know she'll be walking so soon and we can only imagine we'll really be in for it then!
